A salute to midwives and nurses

In today's post, we would like to shine a light on our midwives, Samny (left) and Somalina (right), as we celebrate this year's World Health Day.

Mother's Heart's midwives devote their time caring for mothers and their babies in our care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the critical days and weeks after birth. They ensure both mother and baby are healthy and help prepare young women for their new roles as mothers in the absence of their support system.

Thank, Samny and Somalina, you for your dedication, commitment, compassion, and courage especially during this difficult time.

We join the whole world in celebrating nurses and midwives who bravely go to work each day amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic. Hats off to all of you!
