More than a Visit

Last Friday, we welcomed our long-time friends from Enjoy Church from Melbourne, Australia, led by Pastor Danny Major. Their visits are always full of warmth and connection, feeling like welcoming family back home, and reminding us how powerful genuine friendship and support can be. The day began with a devotion led by Remiel, followed by the thought-providing game, Unfair Monopoly, led by Chad, that highlights everyday challenges women, girls, and families face in Cambodia. The team also joined an orientation to learn more about Mother's Heart and the impact of their ongoing support.

Over lunch, we shared stories and laughter, getting to know everyone personally. In the afternoon, the team led a DIY facial mask session with Margarita. The most moving moment came when Lami shared her story. Her openness created a safe space where our young mothers also felt encouraged to share their own journeys - stories of struggle, courage, and resilience. The day concluded with prayers for our staff, the mothers and children, leaving everyone inspired and uplifted. A heartfel thank you to Pastors Danny and Toshi, Doug, Lami, Roxy, Remiel and Jess, Maragarita, Reuben, and Corrie and Chad. Your presence, encouragement, and prayers make a lasting difference in the lives of our team and the families we serve.
